JOSHUA THOMAS, next-gen advisor

Joshua Thomas is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He currently serves as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Crowell & Moring LLP and is planning to attend law school as he continues his path toward advocacy and legal leadership.

During his time at UF, Joshua demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to service. He served as President of the Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and held key roles as Treasurer of the Black Student Union, President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Treasurer of Florida Blue Key. Additionally, he was a Florida Cicerone and held leadership positions within UF Student Government.

Joshua’s dedication to fostering community and empowering Black students aligns seamlessly with the mission of the Ancestors Dream Initiative. As a NextGen Advisor, he brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep passion for advocacy, continuing to uplift and support future generations.
